Custom bouldering wall design and build for Fergs on Queens Wharf in Wellington.
Fergs wanted a large international competition style bouldering wall to complement their existing lead wall facility, while also providing a stand-alone attraction. The wall needed to also incorporate features for all levels of climbers in order to introduce new people to the sport.
Climb Craft provided a contemporary and functional solution, incorporating slabs, aretes, bulges, an archway, pillar, training area, and large overhanging comp-style wall — all with seamless transitions, in a modern and innovative bouldering wall design.
The install was completed in two parts, with the first (blue) wall completed in June 2020, and the comp wall extension (green) added in May 2021.
